Toona
Toona
Korean-grown toona with warm reddish tones and clear grain. Oil or traditional lacquer finishes bring out its depth of colour.
WOODWAY MAGAZINEToona's spring shoots are eaten as a vegetable in Korea. Its reddish wood has long been used for furniture and small low tables, with generally straight grain and approachable working properties.
Broad cathedral grain crosses orange-red brown wood. Growth rings stand out clearly in round slices.
