Camphor Wood
Camphor Wood
Woodway stocks camphor in a variety of boards and round slices. Colour, grain and shape vary from piece to piece.
WOODWAY MAGAZINECamphor's strong scent made it a source of insect-repellent material. After introduction to Australia it spread widely, and Australian camphor is now imported for cutting boards. A natural camphor stand in Dosun-dong, Jeju, is a designated natural monument.
Swirling grain in pale beige, with hints of pink and green. Round slices show clear concentric growth rings.
